In a previous post we showed you why it is so important to choose the right name for your escort site, today we are going to show you how. There are three common aproaches when naming a business - and its website, for that matter: 1. The abstract name: This approach refers to choosing a broad and abstract name for your website that doesn't actually indicate what the business is about. That's ok if you want to keep your website available for a few select customers, that know of its existence from yourself alone. Otherwise, if you want search engines to find your website, not using the right keywords is bad for traffic. 2. The direct approach: That means choosing a name that describes exactly what your business does. The direct approach is self-explanatory, you just need to check if the domain name you've thought about is not already taken. 3. Coining a name: This refers to making up a new word for your website that doesn't currently exist in language. If you feel like it, go ahead and get creative with your website's name, but do keep in mind - like in the first approach as well - that you need to pay attention to the keywords in your website's description, otherwise search engines will not index it properly and you might end up with a really cool name for you website, but with very little traffic. After having decided upon the right approach for you, here's another aspect you should take into consideration: the cognitive fluency. This is a concept developed by psychologists to study how significant pronunciation of words is. For instance, such a study of cognitive fluency revealed that companies with easy-to-pronounce names had a significant increase in share price over the length of an year, as compared to companies with hard-to-pronounce names. Why? Again, it's the psychologists' belief that early brains preferred easy names and avoided the unfamiliar ones as a survival mechanism - if beings were familiar to them, then certainly those beings haven't declared war to them or eaten them... yet. :) So, to sum it up, cognitive fluency works best for you if you avoid using the following words when naming your website: - words from a language that is foreign to the main target audience - words that are difficult to pronounce - words that can be pronounced in several different ways - initials Now put your inspiration at work, ladies!
