What's a homepreneur, you ask? It's a smart term invented for people without bosses or offices, but who still make money - being their own boss, in their very own home. And they do make money: $427 billion annually, to be more exact, that's the amount homepreneurs generate. Pretty impressive, I know. And that would explain the increasing number of home-based businesses throughout the last decade: from 9.5 in 2000 to 18.3 million in 2010. That's almost double! But the numbers don't stop here! More than a third of these 18.3 million - that would be an impressive 6.6 million homepreneurs! - generate at least 50% of the owner's household income. In terms of cash, that's a revenue of more than $125 000 (at least for 35% of them) anually. What's more encouraging is the fact that 7 out of 10 homepreneurs succeed, so maybe that's why a home-based business starts every 11 seconds. Leaving aside the fact that such businesses generally employ two people, you could actually be your own boss, in the luxury and comfort of your own home. And make big cash while you're at it. What do you think about it, ladies? The numbers don't lie! Kendra |
